Mount Williamson
I really like Ansel Adams' work. He captures nature like no other in my opinion. His photos of Yosemite are an inspiration. They show the beauty of nature in a way that cannot be ignored, which is why they helped insure the preservation of the land.

Taryn SimonCannibus
Taryn Simon opens up America's cabinet of curiosities by documenting off-limit zones like quarantine sites, nuclear waste facilities, death rows and C.I.A. offices. Her work is provocative and has a message. That's the biggest reason it appeals to me.
Dorothea LangeMississippi Delta Girl
American documentary photography and best known for her Depression-era work. Lange's photographs humanized the tragic consequences of the Great Depression and profoundly influenced the development of documentary photography. Again, there is a message behind most of her work which is why I find it inspiring.
Gregory ColbertAshes and Snow Exhibit
His work explores the interaction between man and animal. It grabs you, holds you, mesmerizes you. It doesn't let go. I admire his ability to have animals and humans in the same photo without it seeming chaotic. There is such a sense if piece and tranquility to all of his work.
Diane ArbusAmerican photographer noted for her portraits of people on the fringes of society, such as transvestites and prostitutes, and ordinary working-class citizens, in unconventional poses and settings. They are strange but I very much so enjoy their chaos.
